Isle of Palms.......here we come in late July that is. We booked our beach trip today and I am so excited. And we are VERY ready for a vacation around here. We decided on a SC beach because it's closer than most NC beaches (we can make it to Charleston in about 3 and a half hours). I am NEVER going to Myrtle Beach for a family vacation again. It was so crowded and I cannot begin to express how irritating the fireworks were EVERY-SINGLE-NIGHT. We are going with another family who I hope love the Charleston area as much as we do. At least we know the ins and outs of the place. Can't wait to walk on the Battery, see Rainbow Row, walk the Market, eat at Califoria Dreaming (this one is the best in the state), and so much more. Cleaned my bathroom after two weeks, finally. But, really who has had the time to do that recently?? Certainly not me. It was kind of yucky. Hope to not wait that long again.
