I choose love.....no occasion justifies hatred; no injustice warrants bitterness. I choose love. Today I will love God and what God loves. I choose gentleness...nothing is won by force. I choose to be gentle. If I raise my voice may it be only in praise. If I clench my fist, may it be only in prayer. If I make a demand, may it be only of myself. --Max Lucado

Tricks or Treats
I should have saved this picture for last. We took the wagon along thinking that by the time we were on the way home we might have some tired kids. We got to the 1st house and Nor needed a ride. She rode it to three houses and really acted like this was her chariot. It was hilarious.
This picture was taken at Nor's daycare. What a HUGE disappointment. They each had about 8 pieces of candy so then we were wracking our brains about where else to go, afterall we went through all that effort to get dressed up. We headed to Rocky Mount on Perth. It was awesome and so glad we headed that way.Pumpkin Carving
Boone, NC
We got to spend the day in Boone this past weekend as the LKN Wildcats made it to the 4th round of the volleyball playoffs. I know now why I don't watch much volleyball..........I was tore up. Alot of action and so unpredictable. They won and play again on Tues. We got to Boone fairly early and were able to get to the General Store before the game. Always love to go and see what they have there. They we took a few pictures downtown. Tug took this one............our future photographer.
Love this one!!! Try to keep Nor-Nor still.
Nor-Nor took this one............really great job.
Then we went to the Daniel Boone Inn for lunch/dinner. We've always passed the place, never been, and figured this was a good time since the App. game was about to start. We still had to wait 30 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. I am not sure what I had in mind, but what we had was not what I was expecting. Home cooking and plenty of it. Long Overdue
I love how little kids this age can make friends so quickly. Some pokemon cards and these two were set for the night.

AU-AC Homecoming
Computer is acting up tonight but I'll try to get this post finished............we went to my college (which is now a university) homecoming this weekend and had such a great time. The curse of the camera struck again. And low and behold, the camera worked when we got home. A and R went to get on the carriage with Tug and Nor and all I had on my camera was a white screen and it wouldn't do a thing. Now it's fine. I had horrible flashbacks in that moment of graduation when I had a major camera malfunction and now only have 2 pictures of that day. Anyway, I don't get to AU very often and wanted to take pictures all over campus. Oh well, I guess there is always next year. Although I am proud of you A for getting those things on facebook so fast. Now I'll have to figure out how to save them to something to get hard copies.
Was able to get some AU wear, finally. All my Anderson stuff has been gone awhile. Got some really great deals. It's amazing to see how much things have changed in just 10 short years. There are several news buildings, a lot of remodeling, we got to see our old dorm. It was great. I also got to see one of my favorite professors, Mrs. Sprague............I asked her when she began at Anderson.............1980! And she taught 10 years before that in the public school system. She told me she is going to give it a few more years. Wow!!! Now that is some dedication to education!!! I have some pictures from our Friday night festivities.......I'll have to post those later. Suffice it to say, T did not realize that downtown G'ville was such a happening place. Now looking forward to a week/weekend of Halloween festivities. But going to bed now because we are E-X-H-A-U-S-T-E-D.

SC State Fair
Girl's Night Out
On Friday afternoon, I left school and went to pick up Nor. T took Tug to his cub scout outing at Latta Plantation and then they went off to Vance to watch Lake Norman play some football. Nor and I stopped by a cute little store in Troutman.......Back in the Day. Then we went and got our nails done and topped off the evening with dinner at none other than Chick-fil-a. She was very happy with the flowers painted on each of her thumbs. My nails were a hot mess..........they took FOREVER to dry so needless to say don't look too close and this polish won't be on for very long. We had a great time.Sunday, October 10, 2010
Anniversary
I wasn't sure what to title this post so I thought about the fact that we just surpassed the 4 year anniversary of living in this house. This is the place we have lived the longest since being married. We are on a roll. I occured to me that it's been several weeks again since I have last posted. Life is going way too fast. So let's see, I'll try to have pictures next time.
1. Tug enjoyed being the ball boy at Friday night's homecoming game. He loves the football action and being able to do something.
2. We have a scout outing to Latta Plantation this Friday. I'll try to post pictures of that.
3. Excited about AU's homecoming.
4. Ice Road Truckers may be over, but there is another show to take its place, they are on some crazy roads in India.
5. Fortunately we made it through homecoming week.
6. Sometimes I hate bedtime around here. For some reason I find it much easier to do by myself. There just is no fighting.
7. Looking forward to a girls weekend away to Ft. Fisher. So desperately needed.
8. We bought tennis rackets today and went up to the school for about an hour. Who knew tennis rackets were so expensive????
9. Glad to have some great students this semester. It makes other things in that realm bearable.
10. Was so excited to have a reprieve from the summer heat, but the last few days took that away. It was HOT this weekend........too hot for it to be practically the middle of October.
11. Looking forward to the SC state fair next weekend. And Tug has his fall festival next weekend too.
12. CANNOT believe the Gamecocks beat number 1 ranked Alabama. It's about time they acted like they knew how to play football.
13. Starting the Hole in our Gospel series and life group study. Can't wait to see where this takes us.
I guess that's it for now............I've gotta get pictures soon!
