Last Saturday we wanted to head to Charlotte to Maggiano's to celebrate Mom and Dad's 34 anniversary. It is now Dad's favorite restaurant.
So we got a limo and headed to South Park in Charlotte.

I should have taken a picture of the food. It's unreal. We always order family style and they just keep bringing the bowls. It's amazing food and amazing service. We all had a great time!
I've been meaning to do this post for quite some time. I am now selling **SCENTSY**!!! I know some of you must think I already have too many coals in the fire so to speak but this is fun. I love introducing my friends to something I absolutely love. Let me back up the story. I LOVED candles. As a matter of fact, I was Yankee Candle's number 1 fan. I started hearing about this scentsy thing about 2 years ago, but I didn't really know how to get any and didn't know anyone who was selling it. About a year goes by and I find out that one of my life group members is a consultant. I couldn't book a party fast enough. So I had a party back in April of 2011 and I was hooked. First off, who doesn't love a good smelling house???? Second, they are way safer than candles and last longer than a candle too!!! I mean with small children running around the house the saftey factor was a huge selling point for me. I then had a bag party in November of 2011. And then I decided as a new year's resolution if you will that hey why don't I just sell this stuff??? So I got my kit in mid-January, had my launch party the first weekend in Feb and had another party a few weeks later at my SIL's house. I had a pretty successful first month. I have two parties booked this month so far and one in April. My goal is to do two or more parties a month. They have all sorts of warmers to fit any decor.........they even have sports teams warmers. Yes, I have already broken down and bought T a Gamecock one for his office. He loves it. So, my friends, if you are interested let me know. I would love to host a party at your house. You can earn great host rewards and have a great smelling house in the process! I love ***Scentsy***!!!!
In honor of Dr. Suess' birthday the kindergartener's celebrated with a crazy sock, hat, or hair day. We went with crazy hair with colored gel. They had a blast this past week. 
After church last weekend we headed downtown Charlotte because I had been wanting to check out the Mummies of the World exhibit at *Discovery Place. Thankfully right there on the corner across the street was the perfect place to eat........Stool Pigeons. Great food and the wall of TV's were a real hit with T!!! The TV in the middle is an 80 inch screen.
Here's the new 'do for those of you who haven't seen me in awhile.
The mummy exhibit was interesting to say the least. We couldn't take picures in there and I don't think I would have wanted to anyway. But there is alot of cool stuff there for the kids to do. We ended up getting a year pass. It was just more economical that way and we got an educator's discount. Afterall there has to be some perks for being a teacher. Next time I want to go back and do the IMAX theatre. I can't wait to see what the next exhibit will be.
These were really cool........it was metal that would move differently to certain types of music. 
I cannot believe I let an entire month pass without posting. Wow! I hope you don't think we haven't been up to anything because the very opposite is true. Tug just had his last basketball game this past Saturday. Thankfully they won, it was the only win, but he had a blast. This was his first time doing basketball and he had a blast. 
I haven't figured out a good action setting for my camera, but you get the idea. Tug played for the Hornets......a rec team.
