We got to spend the day in Boone this past weekend as the LKN Wildcats made it to the 4th round of the volleyball playoffs. I know now why I don't watch much volleyball..........I was tore up. Alot of action and so unpredictable. They won and play again on Tues. We got to Boone fairly early and were able to get to the General Store before the game. Always love to go and see what they have there. They we took a few pictures downtown. Tug took this one............our future photographer.

Then we went to the Daniel Boone Inn for lunch/dinner. We've always passed the place, never been, and figured this was a good time since the App. game was about to start. We still had to wait 30 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. I am not sure what I had in mind, but what we had was not what I was expecting. Home cooking and plenty of it.
