A trip toward Boone........looking for a tree for Nana's house. We had no particular destination in mind......just headed in that general direction. We stopped at the visitor's center in Blowing Rock to check out what information they had. We found there was a tree farm about 15 mins. from there. As it turns out.......easy to get to the farm, not so easy to get to the trees, but much cheaper than last year's farm. So you weigh the good with the bad. Both T and Nor-Nor fell on the side of the mountain but it was all good. We were soooo excited to see snow and had such a great time. And lunch at Chick-il-lay seeing Santa was great too!!!And really the tree didn't look that big on the side of the mountain. But I swear that thing is at least 9 feet tall. We had to put it in a different spot than Nana intended. I am sure it's still smelling up the house.
T and Tug getting some snow balls together to throw at us. It was actually good packing snow. They are calling for snow again in the mountains this weekend. It was funny too because the further we got up the mountain the colder it got.

and T was ok with it being that cold???? He didn't look like he had enough layers to stay warm!!
