A lot on my mind right now and I am going to dump it here:
1. Cake Boss really is a neat show. I would love to be able to do the stuff this guy does.
2. I wonder if my big mouth has gotten me in trouble in any way???? With all that has happened in the past few weeks, I have tried to make it has drama-less as possible. Sometimes I wonder if I said the wrong thing to the wrong person. I hate psycho-analyzing everything I say.
3. Having said the above (#2) I realize there are some changes to be made on the horizon. If I can just make it through the next 18 weeks I think I'll be okay.
4. I am not looking forward to the start of the spring semester. I has a conversation with another teacher this evening and I am glad to know I am not the only one dreading it. Here's why: I had such a wonderful fall semester (with the exception of one issue which I am sure will rear it's ugly head on Wed.). I am afraid I might not have such great classes this time around. I guess we shall see.
5. Our Nor-Nor is turning 4 on Sunday!!! I find myself dreading those teen years the closer we get to them. I feel like as fast as things are going, that day might be tomorrow.
6. Three children is sometimes better than 2.
7. Let me explain #6 because by now some of your are jumping to conclusions thinking we are trying to announce something........Tug had a sleep over on Sunday night and it was nice to have that 3rd child to kind of even things out and give T a break. And no........we don't have any plans.
8. I am not as excited about American Idol as I have been in past years.
9. I am ready for payday.........going 6 weeks without a paycheck is a looooooooonnnnnnnngggg time even if you do budget.
10. I am glad I am not a gravedigger. I had that thought on the way home this afternoon as I passed a cemetary. I know I'm weird..... I'll stick to teaching for a while longer I guess. There are worse things out there.
11. I hate first period planning.
12. I hope Tug doesn't get another ear infection. He's already had one this season, but when he has a cough in his chest that is usually where it leads.
13. Love the new consignment shop I am taking the kid's things to. They have their stuff together and the place is always so clean and organized. And I always have a credit there.
14. One of my children thinks he needs a Nintendo DS. Really???? A Leapster isn't enough??? I think he's a little young for a DS.
15. Starting a life group is a little more frustrating than I thought it would be. People request information, you contact them, then never hear from them again. I am confused. We have our first official meeting this Thursday. I guess we'll just have to wait and see who shows up after I send out an email reminder.
I feel a little better.........I do have to do a better job of getting some pictures on here of the kiddos in our 'ordinary' life. Too many of the pictures are from occassions. We shall see what the next days hold.
